Who am I?

Hi there, I'm Patrick, nice to meet you!

Born and raised in Staffordshire, spending my 20's in London, and starting my 30's with a move to the South West, marrying my partner in crime, and becoming a dad to my wonderful daughter, we live life at 100 miles per hour!

​

I like to think of myself as a bit of an adventurer. I am always happy to hike, climb, hop over fences, explore little-known places and, get wet and muddy, especially in the name of getting great shots! Unfortunately for my wife, I tend to start these adventures before sunrise, to make the most of the light (don't worry I also work non-nocturnal hours too!). If the adventure involves beautiful locations, amazing light, and great company, sign me up! I'm a runner, obstacle course racer, film fan, and self-identified computer nerd.

I also love being around, and getting to know, people. Kind of handy for a photographer who shoots the way I do.

For the last 10 years I've been behind the lens honing my style and I think I can best distill it to this:

When I'm working with you, I want you to feel like you're spending time with an old friend, who happens to be taking pictures. That's how I capture genuine moments.

I know lots of people don't like being in front of the camera, it can feel awkward and, to be honest, a little forced. That's why I focus on the fun, getting to know each other and having a laugh, creates those beautiful natural photos.

These combined, allow me to provide you, with photos that feel alive, not like Harry Potter, but photos that will snap you straight back to that moment, for you to relive and cherish for years to come.​
